How's it going, America,

I talk to Andy Ngo about his new book, The Zizians: Inside a Trans Death Cult, a secretive extremist group linked to multiple deaths and criminal investigations across the United States. We get into their origins in Silicon Valley's rationalist and effective altruist communities, their radical beliefs about AI, veganism, and the violence surrounding its members.
Let's get into it:
The X account Data Republican has shared a series of videos pulled from conversations among Democrat operatives that reveal serious plans for a color revolution in the United States. This would be a mass movement that appears to be grassroots but is actually organized by non-government organizations funded by wealthy leftists seeking to topple the American government and replace it with a socialist regime.
I'm not one of those people who always sees something nefarious lurking underneath. I'm not a big believer in conspiracies—it always seems to me like too many people have to keep quiet for conspiracies to work, and there are too many blabbermouths among us to make that work. And for years, I thought for sure that Democrats and Republicans, lefties and conservatives, wanted the same things for America and just believed there were divergent paths that would be the best way to get there.
Even when Trump was elected in 2016, and I hadn't voted for him, I fully hoped for his success, because the success of an American president is success for our country and I'm super on board with my nation. I love to travel but I'd never leave these amber waves of grain or purple mountain majesties or seas to shining seas for good.
When everyone started shouting "resist," my thought was the same as when everyone voting for Obama started shouting "change." "Resist" what? "Change" what? Words are quite literally meaningless without definitions. Which is why when trans came along and the new definers defined "women" and "also men," I had to get off the Democrat train.
That Democrat train, it turns out, has bigger plans in store. They don't just want a different path, they want a different outcome. They want an America where outcomes—not opportunities, but outcomes—are dictated by law, where merit, skill and talent are not determinants of success, but skin color, ethnicity, and social class are.
They want to consolidate wealth and power in the hands of government, mete out resources to those with whom they agree, to those who will bolster their power. And they want to prevent the people from democratically electing anyone with different views. They say so outright.
In these videos shared by Data Republican, we see that governors are being organized, behind the scenes, to take over when the federal government is toppled. We see ex-USAID workers planning to rewrite the constitution. We see American leftists teaming up with foreign agitators to adopt tactics seen in France, Brazil, and elsewhere to undermine legislated laws and upset the social order. Whether Americans bring the socialist communist revolutionaries into office or whether they reject them at the polls, the well-funded, globalist, international, America-hating leftists are planning to take over whether they are elected or not.
