How's it going, America,
Check out our latest episode of The Pod Millennial! NOW ON VIDEO! I talk to Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec about "Unhumans 2: Socialist Revolution" and concerns about the rise of communism in the US. New episodes drop every Tuesday! Listen, rate (5 stars, of course!), and subscribe!
Let's get into it:
France burned this weekend. The City Hall of Limoges, which had stood for 143 years, through two World Wars, was burned down. Shops were broken into and looted. Muslim shops were left alone, and Jewish shops were destroyed. Cars were torched.
1,800 people were arrested. Protesters clashed with officers. Buildings were set on fire. After rioters were done torching the shops of small business owners, massive international brands, showplaces of design excellence, rioters turned to homes. And everything they steal will be sold in second-hand shopping forums online, like Vinted and all the rest.
Security camera footage shows looters breaking into private homes. They want whatever isn't theirs, and if they can't have it they will burn it down. We recently saw Greta Thunberg on hand, lamenting her own white privilege, talking about how these are social riots.
They are not.
These are no longer education riots, no matter why they started, or what CNN says. These are riots about redefining the heirs to France and torching the remnants of Western Civilization. There's a reason Europe used to have walled cities, it was to prevent invasion. But in recent decades the continent has thrown open its borders on the false assumption that those who would come from far-flung nations with completely different cultures would want to be European.
They do not.
The masses of people who came into Europe, who have come into the UK and the US, seek to gain power both politically and in the streets, and once they have done so, they seek destruction. They are aided by the far-left who support them and feel that their ideology protects them from the violence being wrought against society.
It does not.
Once the hordes are done with the shops, the institutions, the government buildings, the museums, they will come for those elites who supported them. Those who are steeped in grievance theory and demand that centers of wealth be moved from the private sector into government, who think they are aligned with the street rioters, will succumb to the same fate. They think the violent street thugs will stop when the aims of the elites are achieved.
They will not.
The red-green alliance of the far-left with the Islamists will not hold. Once the Islamists have taken over political and street power, they will turn on their far-left allies. The queer Marxist anti-racist climate activists will suffer the same fate. They don't believe it, they think they hold the leash, but they absolutely do not. They don't realize they are being throttled, strangled, and will easily be squashed.
French President Emmanuel Macron was seen dancing with his wife Brigitte at a Celine Dion concert as the Limoges City Hall burned, its centuries of treasures lost. And on Sunday he came out with a speech where, according to Grok AI's translation, he asked "How could French people do this to France?" They were not the only ones, but Macron didn't address that.
Macron called for "investigations," but he doesn't want the answer to them. He claimed that the protesters "expressed concern about the cost of living and the price of fuel," then blamed Trump for that due to the war in Iran. He said he'd try to bring down prices.
"For several weeks now," he said, "our youth have been expressing deep anxiety in high schools as well as in universities. A concern about the future, about living and studying conditions, about the ability to find one’s way, to plan for the future, to find one’s place in society. The idea that there is no desirable future, in a way. I understand our high school and university students."
Either he still believes that the protests are high school students running a little wild and is absolutely delusional or he is a liar who cannot admit that the open borders policies of France and the entire EU were misguided.
He called for leaders to "condemn" the violence. "The country needs order and calm, not escalation." He doesn't at all realize that this entire catastrophe has careened out of his control. He called for "listening and dialogue" between now and the next election 6 months away. But he offered no remedy for the real problem: the people France invited in, fed, and housed hate France.
There were no French flags amid the violence, just the flags of Palestine and foreign nations. France has been duped into welcoming their destroyers, letting in the Trojan Horse in the form of sad migrants who just need help from their European betters: it all was a ruse. The goal was to destroy France. And now that destruction is upon them.
