How's it going, America,
Check out our latest episode of The Pod Millennial! NOW ON VIDEO! This week, I talk to Dr. Chloe Carmichael about who really needs therapy, whether the mental health establishment is actually helping people, and how to become stronger and more resilient without it. New episodes drop every Tuesday! Listen, rate (5 stars, of course!), and subscribe!
Let's get into it:
Yesterday marked the third anniversary of the Oct. 7 massacre, and in the years that have followed that massive terror attack, Palestinians who advocated for it and Hamas terrorists have been publicly absolved of their crimes by leftist factions both here at home and abroad. The mayor of New York would not condemn Hamas, nor would DSA members, Muslim Senate candidates, and others on the left who have more hatred of Jews and Israel than they do for child-killing terrorists.
In New York, protests sprang up led by keffiyeh-wearing rich kids attending Columbia University. Students from suspended groups, CU Apartheid Divest and Students for Justice Palestine, wrapped the Palestinian scarves around their faces and stood outside the school gates waving signs around and yelling about eradicating entire nations. Our most privileged, Ivy League students are terrorist sympathizers who stand outside their sprawling campus and call for "an intifada revolution," and "to globalize the intifada." They likely don't know what that means, but it also doesn't matter
After releasing a lackluster statement about the Oct. 7 massacre that mostly blamed Israel, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a proud socialist, went to a vigil that was being held and was booed by his own supporters for not going hard enough against Israel. This is the guy who promised to jail Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu when he came to speak at the United Nations, despite having no jurisdiction to do so. This is the guy who said he got into politics to fight for Palestinians. But now, none of that is enough for the supporters who want to see him prevent New Yorkers from buying land in Israel.
Protesters who called for the eradication of Israel called Mamdani a "sell out" and a "traitor," saying "you sold all your people out." He stood there stone-faced and took it as they screamed at him. "Zohran, what do you say? How many kids did you kill today?" They shouted. "700,000 dead. Mamdani, your hands are red." "Zohran, you can't hide, we charge you with genocide.
These are all slogans and chants that were likely uttered by Mamdani in years past, targeting other politicians, claiming that they weren't doing enough to bring an end to the nation of Israel. As he arrived at Union Square, these agitators, Mamdani's comrades, shouted "Long live Hamas."
It's been three years since a massacre was undertaken by Jew-hating terrorists. It's been three years since Israel launched an all-out war of self-defense against terrorists and those who fund them. Here in America, we see the factions on the left coming together. The far-left Antifa contingent has teamed up with the religious-extremist Islamic contingent. The two see each other as allies in their fight to overthrow the West, to burn it down entirely.
They may disagree, when it comes down to it, on what should replace the West, but they are not worried right now about that. Right now, they just want to destroy it. And their message is coming through louder and clearer than any message coming from the side that boasts reason, logic, truth and meaning.
This isn't a fight about tax policy, it isn't a fight about political theory, it's a fight for civilization, and anyone who wishes to preserve it oughta start treating it that way. The students at our most prestigious schools call for an end to the nation that offers them opportunity for a life of success. These are the people who are being trained to lead our country, and if we let them, they will lead us off a cliff.
