Brought to you by The Pod Millennial

Check out our latest episode of The Pod Millennial! I talk to Texas Congressman Brandon Gill about the shifting landscape of the Democrat Party as socialists are on the rise and the party veers sharply left. It brings up serious questions about mass migration, cultural assimilation, and what it really means to be an American. New episodes drop every Tuesday! Listen, rate (5 stars, of course!), and subscribe!

Let's get into it:

Today is the final opinion day of the term for the Supreme Court, which is set to issue rulings today on birthright citizenship and men in women's sports. We at The Post Millennial are anxiously awaiting the results (I'm writing this about an hour before they drop, but deadlines and all that), so you'll have to tune back in to see what happens. Opinions drop at 10:30. If I were a betting man, which I am neither a bettor nor a man, I would say they go against Trump on birthright and for him on trans sports.

The thing about birthright is that we're the ONLY developed nation that gives away citizenship so easily. And yeah, it's one of the things that makes us awesome. But we should not bestow citizenship on the children of illegal immigrants as a defacto move, and we should also not allow birth tourism as an industry. It's just crazy that we allow the for-profit selling of American citizenship and now there are over 1 million "American" children being raised in China who have only taken their first breaths here and nothing more.

On Monday, the Supreme Court said that states can count ballots that arrive after Election Day, which also seems a bit bats. There should be no massive batch of votes coming in after Election Day, no truckloads of voting forms that miraculously showed up on the Thursday following the deadline. I don't even think we should have mail-in ballots except for those who are absentee. If you live in town, get your ass to the voting booth on Election Day. Sure, doing stuff is annoying, but show up if you want to vote, don't just wait for some Democrat operative to show up at your door, tell you who to vote for, and take all those ballots off for a late drop.

If you're in the DC area or heading there, I must recommend you check out the Great American State Fair. The best part was the states' pavilions, where you can check out little glimpses of each state. More than any real interest in traveling the world, I want to visit all 50 states in my lifetime. There are several states I have not been to: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama, Mississippi, Hawaii, Alaska, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Indiana.
