Let's get into it:
As we predicted yesterday, more socialists from New York City are headed to the House of Representatives. Darializa Avila Chevalier and Claire Valdez have won their primaries in New York's 13th and 7th, respectively, and will go on to serve in Congress. No one can stop them now.
.
Mamdani was stoked. Chevalier is as pro-Palestinian as he is. She was even out there marching around on October 8, 2023, cheering on Hamas terrorists and denouncing Israel, even as the blood still flowed from the bodies of the Israeli victims of the massacre. But a massacre is no less than what they deserve, for Chevalier, who also hates America.
Like Chevalier, Valdez also has a background as a community organizer, after which she went to the New York State Assembly. This is a similar path to power that Mamdani took. The constituents who voted for these two socialists did so likely because they thought it would make them good people. These are the leftists who work as graphic designers, fear their jobs will be gobbled up by AI, and think the little people deserve more lattes and organic kale, too.

The socialist takeover of the Democrat Party is nearly complete, and those Dems who don't go along with it will be ousted. Just look at Dan Goldman, who lost his seat to Brad Lander. Goldman thought he was protected because he had worked to impeach Trump so many times but in the end, his support for Israel and his, let's just say it, being Jewish did not play in the Big Apple. He was recently denied service at a Brooklyn coffee shop because he doesn't think Israel should be obliterated and handed over to terrorists. Lander had Mamdani's endorsement. The white liberal guilt and the immigrants seeking handouts have veered the party entirely toward communism.
All of these socialists speak about equity, wealth transfer from the wealthy down to the poor, and say that the American Dream has been betrayed, using the very fact of their being billionaires, and now a trillionaire, as evidence of that. But they are wrong. We don't all have to have the same amount of money, whether that's a lot or a little, for things to be equal.
There's enough in America for all of us to have a good life—that's the bounty, that's the prosperity. I don't have a mansion, but I have a house in which I am comfortable. I don't have 40 acres, but I can look out at my square of a backyard and dream with the imagination God has given me. I'm not driving a Cadillac but—you get the idea, and my little SUV goes from zero to 60 as fast as I need it to.
The American Dream isn't about everyone having the same amount of wealth, it's about being able to have a good life at any income level and the opportunity, for all, to strive for better on their own merit and hard work. That's the promise, and it's a damn good one.
