Check out our latest episode of The Pod Millennial!  Sall Grover was sued by a man called Roxy Tickle after she created a women's-only app—and she's lost twice. But Sall is not done fighting and refuses to give in to the lie of trans ideology. New episodes drop every Tuesday! Listen, rate (5 stars, of course!), and subscribe!

Let's get into it:

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton won his runoff election against incumbent Senator John Cornyn, sending the Trump-backed bulldog into a general election fight against Democrat James Talarico. Paxton was endorsed by Trump just recently, and he now joins other candidates nationwide in ousting incumbents with the backing of the president.

Trump-endorsed candidates beat Rep. Thomas Massie in Kentucky, a handful of Indiana state legislators, and Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy. Meanwhile, redistricting efforts in many red states are underway, which could lead to the creation of new GOP-held seats in those areas.

"When everyone in Washington told him to abandon me and abandon the people in Texas, he didn't," said Paxton in a victory speech Tuesday night. "Instead, he gave his complete and total endorsement. President Trump is the leader of our party, and his endorsement is the most powerful force in politics. Tonight, we just sent a Texas-sized message to Washington."

Paxton is not without his past scandals. There was talk of an affair, there were attempted impeachments, but at every turn, the people of Texas have said that Paxton's work on their behalf was way more important. That work is so key, said Texan Republican voters, that even though Paxton was outspent by $80 million, he still won the runoff.

"Congratulations to Ken Paxton on such a tremendous win, and to John Cornyn for having run a strong and powerful race, but, more importantly, having had a truly great career. John will remain my friend for a long time to come, as we both watch Ken become a fantastic, common-sense Senator, one who is respected by all," Trump said in congratulations, going on to liken Democrat opponent James Talarico to Mad Magazine's Alfred E. Neuman.

"His opponent, Alfred E. Neuman, may be the worst TEXAS candidate I have ever seen," Trump went on. "A strong Open Borders advocate, he is WEAK ON CRIME, believes there are 6 genders, is insulting to Jesus Christ, will never support the Military, was a big Mask Wearer until recently, and is a Vegan who dislikes meat, not exactly a good way to be if your wanting to win an Election in Texas."

So, who is this Talarico he's going to face in the general? This is a guy who is studying to get a Master's of Divinity—but somehow also believes that abortion is acceptable because of that faith. "Just my personal belief is that, that we have to make this decision as moral agents, as our sisters in Christ," he said when it comes to the murder of the unborn.

Talarico endorses lying to children about sex and gender, saying after a protest staged by trans activists at the Texas state house, “I love, and just say this because it's on my mind, the trans children who showed up yesterday at the state Capitol to advocate for their humanity." He'd been asked about "something you love that's not family or friends." He used Jesus' mother Mary to justify abortion, saying that she was given the chance to consent to the Virgin birth.

Talarico is part of the Democrats' new white male contingent of candidates, and my guess is we can expect to see more of them. As usual, Democrats have completely misinterpreted why they lost the 2024 presidential election. They still believe it's because Kamala Harris was a black woman and don't realize it's because her policies were bad. Democrats can't help themselves and lean into identity politics at every turn, they figure if we won't vote for a black woman with bad ideas, we're just racist and will vote for a white man with bad ideas instead.

He knows that his commentary will work against him, and said at South by Southwest, "they're gonna throw everything they've got at us. They're going to dig up all kinds of old statements, take them out of context, and paint them in the worst possible light, because this is the only playbook they have in 2026." In other words, don't believe what I've said, just believe that the people telling you what I said are bad. Okay, James, good talk.
