Check out our latest episode of The Pod Millennial! If representation really matters, why do we keep leaving all the boys out? What if the books your son is reading actually celebrated him, his curiosity, his courage, and his faith? I talk to author Brianna Gilmore of Ark Press about a brand new young adult series that's doing exactly that. And don't miss hearing what I really think of the casting choices in the new Odyssey adaptation. New episodes drop every Tuesday! Listen, rate (5 stars, of course!), and subscribe!
Let's get into it:
Kenny Cody, history teacher, Human Events opinion editor, and all-around great guy was just endorsed by President Donald Trump.
"It is my Great Honor to endorse MAGA Warrior, Kenny Cody, who is running to represent the fantastic people of Tennessee's 11th State House District," the president wrote on Truth Social.
"A very successful School Teacher, Civic Leader, Conservative Journalist and Activist, Kenny has dedicated his life to serving his Community. In the State House, he will fight tirelessly to Promote East Tennessee's “Mountain Values,” Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Advance MADE IN THE U.S.A., Champion American Energy DOMINANCE, Stop Migrant Crime, Strengthen our Military/Veterans, Promote School Choice, Safeguard our Elections, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment. Kenny Cody has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next State Representative from Tennessee's 11th House District - HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!"

Kenny was of course thrilled with the endorsement. "I am so honored to be the only President Trump-endorsed, America First conservative running in this race," Cody said. "Donald Trump is the reason I got into politics, and this is truly a full circle moment earning this endorsement from him. God bless House District 11, God bless Tennessee, and God bless the United States of America."
So often, we focus on national races and national political personalities, forgetting that it is in the local state houses where the laws and policies are made that have the most impact on our lives. When Kenny wins his seat, he will make policy in Nashville along with another man who has been making news from Tennessee, Justin Pearson from District 86—but Kenny won't make a fool of himself, set fires on the floor of the legislature, and get himself kicked off all his committees for demanding a voice in a committee to which he does not belong.
Kenny is a guy who wants to make a difference where he lives, for his family, friends, and state. I join the president in backing Kenny in this race. The country could do with more men like Kenny Cody.
I hosted Timcast IRL last night from the big chair! You can watch the whole episode here.
