Let's get into it:
The SPLC funded lots of things they labeled as hate while taking donations to fight that hate. We talked about it yesterday, I know, but we're going to keep talking about it because it's super important. There wasn't enough racism in the US for the SPLC to maintain its business model, so they had to create it, boost it, just so they could claim there was more to fight and keep on trucking.
The New York Times, Washington Post, NPR, and lots of other formerly "trusted" media organizations believed that there was a "rise in hate." They published about racism and police brutality endlessly, trying to get Americans to believe that we were living in some KKK Jim Crow slavery country when, in fact, in real terms, among real Americans, none of that was happening.
The SPLC was a key component of that drive toward accelerating and increasing the belief that the United States was just full of big, fat racists in elastic waist pants who hate everyone. Meanwhile, one trip out to a Midwest Walmart reveals grandmas with half a dozen mixed race grandbabies, gay children, and love and cupcakes for all of them.
But for progressive Democrats, the SPLC was a legitimizing force. They brought that group into the Biden White House no less than 11 times. The Biden FBI sourced the SPLC in their attempt to target traditional Catholics, saying that those who liked the Latin Mass were extremists. The SPLC met with the Biden administration before labeling Moms for Liberty and other parents' groups "hate groups."
The SPLC called Turning Point USA a hate group, and Charlie Kirk hateful. And then he was killed for it. I'm not saying the SPLC killed Charlie, but I am saying that they contributed to an atmosphere where lies replaced truth and the label "hateful" was slapped on anyone who didn't agree with the far-left of the Democrat Party.
