How's it going America,

Check out the latest episode of The Pod Millennial in which I talk to Jack Posobiec about all things Super Bowl Halftime Show. You won't want to miss it! Subscribe, rate (5 stars, of course), and listen.

Let's get into it:

Savannah Guthrie's mother, Nancy, has been missing for almost a week. The 84-year-old grandmother was abducted from her Arizona home last Saturday night, in the middle of the night. It wasn't until after she didn't make it to church the next morning that people began to worry.

When police went to her home, they found a crime scene. Blood on her front steps. A surveillance doorbell camera that was missing, and a home in disarray. The police put up tape, made it a crime scene. Only the next day, an Amazon driver was seen walking up onto the blood-spattered porch and delivering a package.

Police had closed the crime scene then opened it up again. Then they closed it and went in for more evidence. It's pretty bizarre for police to go to the scene of an abduction, close the crime scene, then release it so quickly and then close it again. It's as though they had no idea what they were doing.

Since then, there have been ransom notes demanding millions in Bitcoin, there's been a reward offered of $50,000 for information, and much of the evidence in the case points to a suspect who would not have been unfamiliar with Guthrie or her home. A former special agent said as much to the New York Post and Lynden Blake had the same view. She spoke to Jack Posobiec about it on Human Events Daily and laid out a clear timeline of the events in the case and what is known so far.

The story is that she dined with family on Saturday night after taking an Uber to their location. She got a ride home from her son-in-law. Hours later, there was motion on her surveillance camera, but the motion was not recorded, and the camera is now missing. It initially seemed like the son-in-law may be a person of interest, but police have said that they have no suspects as yet in the case.

This week, police were seen carrying something large out of the home covered in a blanket. What was it? They were also seen going into the home with equipment used to break into computers and electronic devices. Guthrie's phone, wallet, and medications were left behind. Savannah Guthrie and her family have been urgently trying to communicate with the kidnappers, putting out videos asking them to talk to her, telling them they want to make sure Nancy is safe.

The ransom notes that were sent have no information about how to contact the kidnappers which makes experts concerned that giving the money requested may not result in the return of Guthrie. There's been no proof of life offered and no indication in the notes that the writers are the real kidnappers. The notes do contain information about the home and what Guthrie was wearing and there were deadlines contained in the notes with threats if the deadlines were not met.

To complicate matters, a man was arrested for sending an imposter ransom note. Police were able to track him down right away, but they have not yet made any headway in apprehending the real culprits in the case.

The more time goes on without Nancy being able to check in with her pacemaker monitor or take any of her prescription medications, the more dire the whole thing becomes. It's horrifying to think that an old woman could just be ripped from her home in the middle of the night with no trace left behind as to where she could be.

I pray that she's found safe.

“Most striking is an unexpected rise in tolerance for assassination rhetoric among women under conditions of high social media exposure and perceived national decline.”

“Conspire and threaten to assault, kill and doxx officers, and you’ll find yourself in federal custody facing the full force of justice.”

“Their reasoning is that one of the prosecutors, who’s an expert in homicide, has a daughter who was at Utah Valley University on September 10th when Charlie Kirk was killed.”
