How's it going America,

Let's get into it:
What's the deal with leftist celebs constantly spouting their mouths off about their political views while the conservative stars pretty much keep quiet? They saw what happened to Bobby Kennedy Jr when he joined forces with Trump and brought MAHA to the federal government. It wasn't just him who was suddenly persona non grata among the Hollywood set, but his wife Cheryl, too, who was on the outs with her friends and colleagues. Now we see Molly Ringwald, Bruce Springsteen, and so many others—including a chef I just unfollowed on Insta bc I don't need an anti-ICE focaccia—saying that somehow the feds are Nazis.
What's crazy is that rapper Nicki Minaj is clear-headed enough to see that Trump and the rest are actually doing the right thing for the country. Nicki was chilling with her fellow Queensian (Queenser? Queensite?) Donald Trump yesterday said that she was his biggest fan.I gotta say, when I saw Ms. Minaj in person at Turning Point USA in Phoenix, I was very moved by her revelations about faith and country. Now here she is, the voice of reason in a celeb culture indoctrinated with communist ideals.
Bruce Springsteen put out a new song called "Streets of Minneapolis" that glorifies the agitators and protesters. It begins:
"Through the winter's ice and cold
Down Nicolett Avenue
A city aflame fought fire and ice
'Neath an occupier's boots
King Trump's private army from the DHS
Guns belted to their coats
Came to Minneapolis to enforce the law
Or so their story goes."
80s "brat pack" film star Molly Ringwald offered her voice in an Instagram video, saying, "There's something horrible, horrible going on in our country right now, and we have one of the greatest countries, had one of the greatest countries in the world, and I've always been so proud to be an American. But right now, this is a fascist government. It's not becoming a fascist government. It is a fascist government. And ICE is brutalizing people. And I don't care how you identify if you're a Democrat, if you're a Republican, if you're independent, if you don't like to be political at all, it doesn't matter. You have to look at what kind of country you want to live in. And I don't think that I need to remind you, you know, just give a little history lesson here, quick. But you know, if you look at what happened in France, where I lived for, you know, a few years in my 20s, you know, they were taken over by the Nazis. They were invaded. They were taking over. And a lot of people, a lot of people collaborated, and then there were people that did not collaborate and were part of the resistance."
And then she threatened her listeners. "Eventually they got their country back. And those people who collaborated were found to be criminal, and that is what's going to happen. I mean, you should not support what is going on, just because these are human beings, and we are human beings, and we cannot forget our humanity. But if you don't care about that, if you only care about yourself, then realize that you are going to be seen as a collaborationist."
Finally, she told them to go protest. Molly's protest is on a video from her bedroom, but everyone else must go stand in the frigid temperatures and confront law enforcement, apparently, so as not to engender her wrath.
"So please, please use your voice and protest. You know, these are, these are children. These are children who are being taken away from their parents. These are mothers who are being killed. These are fathers. These are, these are ICU nurses. These are people that that, are good people that now their their families have to grieve them for doing nothing except for standing up what's right for what's right for keeping, for keeping women from being brutalized by these monsters, and they are monsters. They are human beings as well, but they have forgotten that they're human beings and they have become monsters. Please don't let yourself become like that. Please remember your humanity."
There was a fascinating video posted on X from a woman who used to be a climate activist and has come to realize that she was pretty much entirely misguided by the movement to which she'd dedicated her life. Her voice, and voices like hers, can be drowned out by the big entertainers. But when you hear all these big names telling you to speak up, remember that the voice you have is yours to use how you wish, and not on loan or for sale to anyone else.
