YouTuber Nick Shirley released an insane video on Friday showing evidence of massive fraud in daycare centers in Minnesota. He visited Somali-run daycare after Somali-run daycare, each one registered with the state to have over 50 children, only to find empty office spaces in industrial parks.
The only people he encountered in his quest to enroll little "Joey Shirley" into a state-funded daycare center were women in hijabs who spoke in Somali and or called him racist. Then Shirley went and looked into healthcare businesses only to find much of the same. At a building that housed multiple healthcare businesses, all state-funded, he was escorted out by police.
The fraud in Minnesota is massive. And the more this is investigated, the more it looks like it's not just localized to Minnesota. Ohio, Washington, and perhaps your state as well have all been abused by fraudsters who create businesses to enroll in government programs, take funds, and provide no services in return.
The FBI responded, saying "The FBI is aware of recent social media reports in Minnesota. However, even before the public conversation escalated online, the FBI had surged personnel and investigative resources to Minnesota to dismantle large-scale fraud schemes exploiting federal programs. Fraud that steals from taxpayers and robs vulnerable children will remain a top FBI priority in Minnesota and nationwide. To date, the FBI dismantled a $250 million fraud scheme that stole federal food aid meant for vulnerable children during COVID. The investigation exposed sham vendors, shell companies, and large-scale money laundering tied to the Feeding Our Future network."
It's an issue of a high-trust society accepting loads of immigrants from low-trust societies and expecting that those immigrants have the same values. They do not.
Many of these fraudulent businesses donate to Democrat campaigns. Which means that on top of straight up fraud we have a kickback system. Here's how it works: Dems bring in tons of immigrants, who then pilfer millions in government funds for fake companies providing fake social services. Those companies donate to Dem campaigns. Once Dems take office they raise taxes to pay for more fraud.
How much of our government debt is a result of fraud and graft? The businesses receiving the funds need to be audited and the government agencies that distributed the funds need to be audited.
Yes, provide social services to those who need it. But that cannot be done with such low oversight that billions are able to be stolen from taxpayers while politicians tell us taxpayers we are racist for lack compassion for demanding accountability.
I don't know about you, but I want my money back.
