Trump made a wild announcement on Truth Social last night, one that was praised by many just as it was called racist by others. He's putting a permanent pause on the Third Worldification of America by stopping migration from Third World nations, or what he called "sh*t hole countries" in his first term, and sending back those who were brought in under Joe Biden.
"I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to recover fully," he said, "terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions, including those signed by Sleepy Joe Biden’s Autopen, and remove anyone who is not a net asset to the United States, or is incapable of loving our Country, end all Federal benefits and subsidies to noncitizens of our Country, denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization."
It was just two weeks ago when Human Events published an article calling for a 40-year pause in immigration, citing the 20th century precedent for it. With the passage of the Emergency Quota Act of 1921 and the Immigration Act of 1924, an immigration limit was set at 350,000 and then a 40-year pause so that Americans could prosper in their own nation. Those immigrants who were already here assimilated, generation after generation, while black Americans were able to make inroads after the Civil War.
What we have now is a far different landscape, and the need for a pause is even more urgent. We have an entire academic and institutional infrastructure that hates America and teaches others to do so. We have a political party in the Democrats that barely recognizes American sovereignty. And we have millions of immigrants who came to this country and are now on government benefits, or as the Somalis are in Minnesota, scamming those benefits to the tune of millions of dollars.
It's not racist to want to keep your country sovereign, to want to prevent cultural invasion, or to want the Americans who are already here to be able to profit and succeed on their merits without the added difficulty of funding benefits for people who shouldn't even be here. Like the guy who opened fire on DC National Guardsmen and killed West Virginian 20-year-old Sarah Beckstrom, leaving Andrew Wolfe, 24, fighting for his life.
