Hi everyone,
Nicki Minaj, pop star, songstress, rapper, spoke at the United Nations yesterday against the targeted killing of Christians in Nigeria. Minaj has not always been a friend to the conservative side of politics, but she's shown that where her values overlap, she will support those causes.
Such is the case with the massacres of Christians. She has taken the slings and arrows from leftists who believe that she has no business supporting the president even in areas where they agree, but her remarks to the UN were clear: attacks on people for their religion cannot be tolerated.
"Religious Freedom means we all can sing our faith regardless of who we are, where we live and what we believe. But today, faith is under attack in way too many places," she said. And on the subject of "taking sides," she said "I want to be clear, protecting Christians in Nigeria is not about taking sides or dividing people. It is about uniting humanity."

Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz said that just this week, 20 girls had been kidnapped from their school and are now in the hands of Islamic extremists. Imagine sending your daughters to school only for them to get kidnapped and sold off into marriage or sexual slavery.
I wrote about Minaj's speech and her support of this effort to stop the massacres for the New York Post and the entire UN panel is worth listening to.
On Monday, I had the chance to sit down with the Her Take podcast and spoke to hosts Ana Kasparian and Lindy Li about Epstein, Trump, MTG, and other topics. Tuesday, the House voted to release the Epstein files and the measure goes to the Senate.
Ideally, this release will put an end to the whole Epstein obsession, but I think there's a good chance it will not. I understand the anger, the files were promised, but now it's just a political cudgel that everyone is using to beat everyone else, only it's the American people who now have a concussion.
