Hi everyone,

I spoke to Andrew Kolvet and Blake Neff on The Charlie Kirk Show yesterday about new data showing that young American women want to flee the United States. This is absolutely bonkers to me. I am unapologetic when I say America is the best country on Earth. It's likely that, were I a citizen of ancient Rome, I would have said the same thing, but I would have been right then, too.

Is it Trump Derangement Syndrome? Is it the failure of the promise of feminism? Is it because they hate America? All of these are possibilities. It's also highly likely that 99.999% of these ladies will never go anywhere.

Where are they gonna go? Where do they think will give them a better life? I don't think they realize that wanting to leave does not make some magic "better place" suddenly appear. Wishes do not make it so.

Free speech is under attack across Europe, it's basically dead in the UK, Christmas markets get canceled due to threats of terrorism, Australia is full of giant spiders, never mind the free speech issues there. Women who have abandoned their American homes have made viral videos in which they talk about how much places that are not the US suck.

They miss the bounty at grocery stores, the conveniences, the peace, the safety, the lack of both scorpions and poverty. They want to come home. But once you're overseas earning income in money that is worth substantially less than the US dollar it's hard to make your way back Stateside.

Yikes. So why do these ladies want to leave? And why don't they want to get married, as other data shows? What is even going on? Why don't young women believe in the American Dream anymore, or aspire to love and motherhood?

We have done a bad job of telling American kids what is good about their homeland and culture and have instead downplayed the global problems of socialism, violence, and poverty. Cultural relativism tells American young people that all cultures are the same, indicating to them that all cultures are just as good as America. This is a lie and we should be ashamed of having perpetuated it.

America is better, has more freedoms and opportunities, and the idea is to keep it that way for these very kids who seek to flee.

Here's what's on my desk today:

Thomas Matthew Crooks went by ‘they/them’ on DeviantArt, linked account reveals ‘furry’ fetish: report

Crooks “was not simply some unknowable lone actor … He left a digital trail of violent threats, extremist ideology and admiration for mass violence.”

“We’ll work something out.”

9-year-old Ohio boy charged with attempted murder, rape of 5-year-old autistic girl

“This case results in a 5-year-old being left naked, beaten, and urinated upon in a field and left for hours. At a very minimum, the state is requesting home detention with an ankle monitor.”

Crooks and Robinson both fit this profile perfectly: socially isolated, downwardly mobile young white men from middle or working-class suburbs, radicalized in the exact online spaces where economic resentment, racial grievance, and sexual deviancy all converge.
