Hi everyone,
Isn't it crazy how the government shut down and basically no one was paying attention except for the crowd of elected officials in Washington, DC? They're not only pointing fingers at one another but slinging memes across social media. JD Vance has come out strong against Democrats Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer, who preferred a government shut down to letting tax subsidies for Obamacare premiums expire.
But for Vance and the GOP, those tax subsidies need to be safeguarded for Americans and they won't vote to extend them unless those funds are for sure not going to cover illegal immigrants on the health care rolls. Vance and the GOP keep pointing out that Dems are trying to fund healthcare for illegal immigrants—at American taxpayer expense—and each time the Dems try to refute this they end up saying that yeah, that's exactly what they want to do.

When California Rep. Maxine Waters was asked about it by Lindell TV reporter Alison Steinberg on the Capitol steps, Waters got angry and told Steinberg to stop asking questions. "Do Democrats want to prioritize the healthcare of illegal aliens?" Steinberg asked.
"Excuse me! Stop it right there!" Waters said. "We're not prioritizing. What we're doing is saying, simply, we want to keep the government open and we wanna work with the Republicans and have a bipartisan agreement to keep this government open and healthcare is at the top of our agenda."
"And are Democrats demanding healthcare for illegal aliens?" Steinberg pressed.
"Democrats are demanding healthcare for everybody," Waters clarified. Presumably "everybody" includes illegal immigrants. "We want to save lives. We wanna make sure that healthcare is available for those who would die but having the help of their government."
Steinberg pressed again and Waters became irate, saying "you're trying to make me say, that somehow, we're going to put non-citizens over Americans. Quit it. Stop it. This is the kind of journalism we don't need. You're divisive... You just want controversy. You're not going to get it from me. We want to save healthcare for all people."
Notice how she refused to deny it?
So yeah, if "everybody" and "all people" includes non-citizens who are in the country illegally, then yeah, Waters admitted through omission that her intention, and the intention of Democrats, is to secure federal funding for illegal immigrants' healthcare.
