An ICE field office in Dallas was shot up on Wednesday by Joshua Jahn, a 29-year-old leftist who was inspired by the assassination of Charlie Kirk. He acted alone, he intended to take his own life, and he used ICE tracker apps. He did not want detainees to be injured in his attack, but he ended up killing one and critically injuring two.
There have been increased calls by Democrats to resist ICE, and while some insist this should be nonviolent, they also claim ICE is the Gestapo, is disappearing people, and is abducting people. FBI Director Kash Patel posted about Jahn, who killed one illegal immigrant detainee and injured two others in his attempt to murder law enforcement officers.
Patel said that the FBI had discovered that Jahn searched out a list of DHS facilities. Jahn "conducted multiple searches of ballistics and the 'Charlie Kirk Shot Video' between 9/23-9/24."
Let's examine what that means: a young man murdered another in cold blood and still another young man used that as inspiration to kill again. The two killers, both young white men, subscribe to an ideology that hates them and in an effort to show allegiance to that ideology they go hard—they kill for it. These are the men whose souls Charlie Kirk was fighting for.
Jahn left behind ammunition engraved with the word "anti-ICE" and he killed himself before he could be apprehended. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem called for amped-up security around ICE facilities. VP JD Vance and Sen Ted Cruz called for the temperature to be lowered.
Democrats like Ilhan Omar, Gavin Newsom, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Brad Lander, and so many others continuously call for the abolition of ICE. Democrats tell constituents to get out into the street, that conservatives are Hitlers, Nazis, fascists, and leftist culture says it's okay to punch a Nazi.
New York City Comptroller Brad Lander said ICE agents are "illegally abducting" illegal immigrants. "We will not stop bearing witness, stop condemning them, or stop doing all we can to stand up to this lawless behavior. In the tradition of nonviolence, of course," he said.
But that's not what's happening.
These leftist leaders believe they have a moral high-ground that gives them the right to commit murder in service to their ideology. Those steeped in this ideology are consumed by demonic madness that makes them believe they can take the lives of people with whom they disagree. The violence will continue as long as those committing it believe their political view is so correct that they must impose it on others, even at the tip of a sword.
