Jul 30, 2025 | Do "good jeans" make Sydney Sweeney a Nazi?

0:00 / 0:00

Hi everyone!

The universe of purple-haired, overly pierced leftists went nuts on the internet over an ad for new jeans. The ad campaign clearly made the joke that beautiful actress Sydney Sweeney has "good jeans," meaning of course that the American Eagle jeans she's wearing and that she's gorgeous, stemming from "good genes."

But for the frenzied leftists on TikTok, Instagram, and even Facebook, her blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and hourglass figure are Nazi propaganda. They complain that it's not inclusive and that American Eagle is basically racist for having "eagle" in the name (even though eagles are the national bird).

One TikToker said it was "an ad for eugenics," while another said the ads were "weird like fascist weird, like Nazi propaganda weird." Another person said the ad was exemplary of "white Christian supremacist fantasies" on "purity, heritage, and dominance" while still another said it was an indication that black people "are not welcome at American Eagle." The angry responses to the ads are endless.

It's worth noting, however, that in 2019 and that era, fashion brands were going out of their way to show very obese women (not men) in their clothes. Some brands, like Gap, use trans-identified males to model their clothes. That wasn't better, and it didn't particularly sell clothes.

But ads have a way of getting under people's skin—they're designed to have a brief but lasting impact. That's why people react so strongly to them, that's exactly what they're designed to elicit. Sydney Sweeney's jeans are okay, and her genes seem probably fine too, but if the ads are an indicator of anything it's that the left's hijacking of culture and turning everything beautiful into something ugly is coming to an end, and they're mad about it.

I'm ready for beautiful things to come back, in clothes, design, architecture, literature, fashion, and entertainment. I don't want to be steeped in ugly things anymore; I want to see things that uplift our spirits instead of crush them.

Here's what's on my desk today:
