Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard made some shocking revelations on Wednesday from the White House briefing room. She said that Hillary Clinton was high on tranquilizers during the 2016 presidential campaign.
She said Putin thought Clinton would win the race and so was holding off on releasing damaging information against her until after the election, with the intention of undermining her presidency.
And she said that Barack Obama would be referred to the Department of Justice for potential criminal charges after she alleged, based on documents, that he pushed the Trump Russia collusion hoax even despite intelligence assessments telling him that this wasn't happening.
The press conference was pretty wild in terms of allegations, questions, and the sheer moxie of Tulsi Gabbard coming out and revealing all of these details, with backup.
Shortly afterwards, the DOJ launched "Strike Force" to investigate these claims by Gabbard that Obama had orchestrated a "years-long coup" by pushing a fake Russian interference story, the agenda behind which was to undermine Trump's presidency.
And for sure Trump's first term was plagued with constant "Russia Russia Russia" as Trump has repeatedly called it, persistent claims that he was "Putin's puppet," that he had conspired to "steal" the 2016 election from Clinton. The idea behind that, of course, is that it was Clinton's to be stolen.
President Trump signed three major executive orders on AI designed to ensure American dominance in that arena and to prevent the government from using AI systems that have been trained on critical race and gender theory or other "woke" concepts.
That last thing is really a big deal, and here's why: AI is used increasingly not just in government but across industries. Those platforms have been trained on text that has a distinct left-leaning bias. This means that the results generated are leftist, not neutral. The order makes it mandatory that AI tools be politically neutral.
Of course, after years of leftists rewriting history to suit their narrative and people conflating actual fiction with facts (i.e. some men are women) I think many of us would be hard pressed to actually identify views that are politically neutral.
Except for this one: RFK Jr. announced an overhaul of the nation's organ donation program. So, how it works is that the government designates non-profits to coordinate organ donations, lining up donors with recipients.
Only in 2020, the government said essentially that non-profits that weren't meeting collection goals would be culled from the program. What followed was a scenario where, per a federal investigation, non-profits were pushing to harvest organs of people who weren't quite dead yet. Some of them even recovered well enough to leave the hospital, go home, and keep on living.
Seems like a good time for some serious reforms.
