May 22, 2025 | 💣 Intifada comes to DC; Big Beautiful Bill passes; Trump confronts Ramaphosa

Brought to you by Meriwether Farms

Hi everyone!

A couple was shot to death outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, DC last night. The two were staffers at the Israeli Embassy and were attending an event. They were engaged to be married. Their wedding was supposed to take place in Israel next week. "My heart breaks for the two Jews who were murdered last night at the Capital Jewish Museum. Antisemitic violence has no place in the United States," VP JD Vance said. "We're praying for their families and all of our friends at the Israeli Embassy, where the two victims worked."

The man who shot them was apprehended, but the damage was done. He shouted "free, free Palestine" as he was led away in cuffs. This is what "globalize the intifada" looks like: gunning down Jews on the streets of Washington, DC. It is absolutely horrific that this happened, but even more so that it happened in our nation's capital city. This is what the Gaza activists want, the murder of Jews, and violence in the streets of America, to incite fear and terror. It's off the campuses and into the streets.

The gunman, a 30-year-old from Chicago, likely would have done more damage. He was trying to breach the museum. "Harming the Jewish community is crossing a red line," said Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela Smith. DHS is investigating, Kristi Noem said she would bring the "depraved perpetrator to justice."

Remember when the Biden administration said Catholics, parents, and white nationalists were the root of all domestic terrorism and extremism in the United States? Yeah. Thanks, Joe, or whoever was running the country. Now we've got armed ideologues hell-bent on mayhem and murder roaming the streets picking off nice Jewish couples.

The One, Big, Beautiful Bill passed the House last night and is moving on to the Senate. The vote was strictly along party lines, with two members of the GOP voting against it. House Speaker Mike Johnson wanted it passed by Memorial Day and he got his wish!

President Donald Trump gave a master class on how to deal with the leader of a genocidal regime. After controversy surrounding Trump's acceptance of 60 white South Africans from the Afrikan minority, Trump invited South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to the White House, who attended with his entourage of government ministers and some golfers.

Trump opened up the conversation by praising Ramaphosa, talking about the G20 summit that's set to take place in the Republic of South Africa in November. But all of these niceties belied Trump's position: which is that there is a genocide going on in South Africa regardless of Ramaphosa's claims and that the violence being perpetrated against white citizens.

That violence has been so extreme that when Trump opened up the refugee program for Afrikaners, some 70,000 people submitted their applications with the intention of leaving their home country and the country of their ancestors. Trump said, "So we'll be discussing many things, and some of the things you've been reading about in the papers."

"The President is a truly respected man in many, many circles," Trump said, "and in some circles he's considered a little controversial. But we're gonna be discussing some of the things that are taking place in South Africa and we'll see if we can help. We want to help."

Trump indicated that it would be a "nice conversation" and thanked Ramaphosa for calling him and coming to Washington, DC. Elon Musk, who hails from South Africa, was there, and Trump's senior team, including JD Vance, Stephen Miller, Susie Wiles, Pete Hegseth, and Howard Lutnick.

A reporter asked the question: "What will it take for you to be convinced there's no white genocide in South Africa?"

Ramaphosa took the question, though it had been directed at Trump. "Well, I can answer that for the president,"

Ramaphosa said."I'd rather have him answer it," Trump said.

"It will take President Trump listening to the voices of South Africans, some of whom are his good friends, like those who are here. When we have talks between us, or the quiet, another quiet table, it will take President Trump to listen to them. I'm not going to be repeating what I've been saying. I would say, if there was an Afrikaner farmer genocide, I can bet you these three gentlemen," Ramaphosa referred to three of the white men who came along on the trip, "would not be here, including my Minister of Agriculture. He would not be with me. So it will take him, President Trump, listening to their stories, to their perspective. That is the answer to your question."

Another reporter sought to ask a question, but Trump said "no, no, wait, we have thousands of stories talking about it, and we have documentaries. We have news stories." He asked for the lights to be dimmer and showed a presentation.

That presentation was the greatest hit of recent South African hatred of the white people in that nation. Leaders could be seen chanting to kill white people and could be heard saying that the land of white men would be taken and occupied, and that murder must be part of the revolution. It was a shocking display and there it was, undeniable, in the White House. Broadcasts were shown where the literal killing of white people was called for. CNN said it was all "conspiracy theories". Even evidence isn't enough for some people.

Wild. I'm hosting Timcast's morning show for the last time this week, tune in for all this and more!
