Video went viral over the weekend of dozens of teenagers ransacking a King Soopers store in <a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/seattle-residents-call-for-national-guard-after-city-fails-to-address-pimp-wars-open-air-prostitution-sex-trafficking-on-aurora-ave">Colorado </a>in an apparent "teen takeover," a new trend where teens show up by the dozens or hundreds in public all at once. Oftentimes, fights and violence break out.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />

Video of the takeover was posted by Instagram account "<a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DcrfbnPKLPr/">vpaxcks</a>" with the caption on the video, "Pov: we took over king soopers."&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />

Dozens of teens were seen running through the store, knocking over and destroying merchandise with impunity. However, that was not the only location with a takeover from a group of rowdy teenagers. In addition to the takeover at King Soopers, the account posted a video of the group taking over a Burger King nearby as well. Video showed the teenagers breaking a table inside the restaurant chain.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />

One of the boys in the video at King Soopers appeared to be carrying a broken table, which may or may not be the one that the group broke at the restaurant.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />

The incident took place after what appeared to be the&nbsp;2nd Annual Quincy's Community Classic, which is a community <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/truheight-and-creator-quincy-helsel-return-to-denver-for-the-2nd-annual-quincys-community-classic-302854747.html" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">event</a> hosted by <a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/denver-bookstore-worker-forced-out-of-job-for-supporting-ice">Denver</a>-native basketball creator Quincy Helsel.&nbsp;Video posted by the Instagram account was taking footage of&nbsp;Helsel and other content related to the event.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />

After the teens ransacked King Soopers, the social media user posted another <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DcsL1h2KXNg/">video </a>which showed a police car next to the store chain with the video caption: "Aftermath of king soopers." In another <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DcsIJCzKZNn/">video </a>where the teens appear to be speaking to&nbsp;Helsel, they said that they broke the table at Burger King.&nbsp;<br />

So-called "teen takeovers" have been popping up across the country and have been part of a viral trend where teenagers all meet in a public place at once. The trend resulted in more concerns for safety, as many of the events lead to fights and violence.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />
