A socialist Democrat who has ties to a terrorist has won the Democrat primary for New Jersey's 12th congressional district. The race was called by Decision Desk at 9:25 pm on Tuesday with nealy 70 percent of the vote counted.&nbsp;<br />

Adam Hamawy, 56, is an Egyptian-born physician as well as former Army trauma surgeon. He was backed by socialist radical Hasan Piker as well as Senator Bernie Sanders in the race. Hamawy is tied to Abdel Rahman, otherwise known as the "Blind Sheikh" who incited the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.&nbsp;<br />
