Incumbent House Democrat Wesley Bell defeated former Rep. Cori Bush again on Tuesday in a primary rematch, with Bell clinching the nomination at around 9pm on election night. Bush ran again after losing her seat in the last go-around, only to lose again to the same opponent.<br />

Bell, who is more moderate and is more pro-Israel than Bush, clinched around 70 percent of the vote to Bush's 26 percent as of 9 pm eastern with <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2026/08/04/us/elections/results-missouri-us-house-1-primary.html">26 percent</a> of the vote counted.&nbsp;<br />
