An armed man was arrested on Sunday with a stash of weapons and body armor outside Trump National Golf Course in Los Angeles, just two days before the president's visit to California.
Jeanine John Taele, 38, from Downey, California, was arrested outside the Rancho Palos Verdes site by plainclothes FBI officers after they determined that he was engaged in suspicious activity, per the New York Post.
The agents found the man with an illegally modified AR platform rifle, body amor, two radio signal devices, high-capacity magazine, and multiple notebooks that had concerning statements. There have been three known previous attempts on the president's life since 2024.
