Chicago had a slew of shootings over the weekend, leaving three people dead and at least 39 wounded across the city. Police reported that those affected spanned a wide age range, from as young as 15 to as old as 73.

There were at least two shootings on Friday evening, 12 on Saturday, and nine on Sunday. No arrests have been made in any of the shootings, according to CBS News.

The weekend's violence began just before 7 pm on Friday near West Chicago Avenue's 3700 block. A 26-year-old man was standing near a business when a vehicle pulled up and multiple people inside opened fire on him. He sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen and was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital. He was listed as in good condition.

About an hour later, another shooting occurred in the 4500 block of West North Avenue, wounding a 28-year-old man in the shoulder. Police said the man was outside when he suddenly heard a bang, felt a sharp pain, and realized he'd been shot. He was also taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital and was listed as in stable condition.

All three deaths were the result of shootings that took place on Saturday. At 8:33 pm on Saturday, a 15-year-old boy was on the 5200 block of West Augusta Boulevard. At the time, a dark-colored car rolled up, and then someone inside shot him in the chest. He was later taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County and died.

At 11:23 pm, three people were shot when they were standing at a gathering at the first block of East 37th Street. One 32-year-old man was shot throughout his body and was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center. The two others shot were in good condition after the shooting.

At 11:37 pm, there was a mass shooting at Washington Park which left a man dead and 14 others wounded. When officers were trying to disperse a gathered crowd, there was an unknown shooter. A 35-year-old-man was killed. The ages of the 14 other victims ranged from 21 to 47.

As of the latest reports, police hadn't made any arrests connected to either shooting, and no additional victims were identified.

On Sunday, multiple shootings took place throughout the city, including where a 17-year-old boy was shot multiple times in the legs at 7:43 pm in the 4100 block of West Wilcox Street.
